Seattle Equitable Development Initiative Peer Learning Exchange: In Place, In Practice, In Community

Seattle Equitable Development Initiative Peer Learning Roundtable Series

Seattle EDI Peer Learning Exchange, a roundtable learning series for Equitable Development Projects. There are circles in the background with decorative lines.

Pull up a (virtual) chair and join the conversation!

Our Seattle Equitable Development Initiative (EDI) invites you to a roundtable-style series of virtual lunch and learns featuring peer funders from across the country. This is an opportunity to hear what’s working elsewhere, share insights, and learn in community. Each session offers a space to listen, reflect, and connect—because progress happens when we’re all at the table. Together, we’ll explore how different communities structure funding programs to support equitable development on the ground.

Since 2017, EDI has worked to reduce barriers to funding for community-driven capital projects that address the root causes of displacement. As our fund has grown—from a one-time investment to over $20 million in annual awards—so has the demand. Today, we face new challenges and opportunities that call for fresh thinking, adaptive strategies, and deeper collaboration.
